Gujarat High Court Clarifies Recovery Report Against Captain Ajay Chauhan

Recent recovery-related reports published against Ajay Chauhan have been rendered misleading in light of the Hon’ble Gujarat High Court’s order, which confirms that the matter is currently under judicial consideration.

The issue is presently pending before the Gujarat High Court, and the judicial proceedings clarify that the conclusions presented in earlier reports do not reflect the complete legal position. The case remains sub judice and subject to final adjudication by the Hon’ble Court. The matter titled R/Special Civil Application No. 14709 of 2023 (Captain Ajay Chauhan vs State of Gujarat) has been taken cognizance of, and vide order dated 29 August 2023, notice has been issued to the respondents, placing the dispute under formal judicial scrutiny.

Ajay Chauhan has stated that he is being wrongly implicated. According to him, all actions undertaken during his tenure were carried out strictly after obtaining due government approvals and in accordance with established policy procedures.
